NICE TO BE BACK ON THE BLOGG

As the title says it is nice to be back on the blogg. I am hoping to catch up with what has been going on and also see how people have got on with  growing this year  and how they got on with showing. I have noticed that a lot of people have not had a good year in growing this year and i think it is because of the weather we have been having. Having said that i do know that a lot of gardeners do grow alot of there veg for shows in big green houses which do have some sort of heating which does make a bigg difference. As to my gardenig year i am sorry to say it has been a disaster mainly bcause of ill health and also that i was let down badly by a very big company who failed to provide me with onion plants which i ordered last october. Because of this ionly managed to grow a few stutgart. Re to runner beans again i had a bad  year as others have had.  Now as to tomatoes i have had a good year especially with  one called SUN GOLD which i will grow again next year. the other one i grew was shirley which is very good to. I have heard that some people were having  end  rot in there tomatoes well all i can  say is that they need to feed calcium and if possable use a solution of soot  desolved in water and feed every 2 weeks. Well this all for now  look out for more.
